Hello/shwmae.

My name is Ellie Zalar, born and based in the South Wales Valleys. I am a traditional illustrator who has graduated Art university, specialising in narrative play through drawing in traditional formats. My main medium is inks of all kinds on watercolour paper. But, I do also occasionally paint, in acrylic. I decided to set up this store in late 2022, as an attempt to put myself out there through the realm of creativity, independently and with freedom, on my terms, sculpting a scene of safety for myself and any tender-hearted person who finds themselves within my works. I have since sold many originals, commissions, art-prints. Also, released three artbooks (2024), showcasing the range, and substance that my artwork oozes with. Representing a mesh of imaginative universes that my very own pale hands have formed onto paper. If it was not for creativity, I do not know who I would be. I am always drawing, observing and reflecting. I am very inquisitive, and like to suggest my thoughts through creating art.
